Their existing WordPress website was critical for:

The Problem:

When we conducted our initial audit, the following issues came to light:

1. Unreliable Hosting Provider:

The website was hosted on a shared server with no performance monitoring.

They experienced 5–6 outages per month, usually during peak business hours.

No CDN or caching enabled, leading to extremely slow page load times.

2. Domain & DNS Mismanagement:

Domain was registered via a third party—no access to DNS panel or renewal controls.

MX records were misconfigured, causing email failures and bounced messages.

SSL certificates kept expiring without notice, causing “Not Secure” browser warnings.

3. Security & Backup Concerns:

No firewall or malware scanning system in place.

The website had no backup—data could be lost at any time.

The Solution:

Mahad IT deployed a complete hosting and domain management solution tailored to their business needs, with a focus on uptime, control, speed, and security.

Here’s how we fixed their tech foundation:

Step 1: Domain Transfer & DNS Control

Transferred the domain to a secure registrar under the client’s ownership.

Set up DNS management with Cloudflare for fast propagation and global availability.

Configured SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for verified email delivery and anti-spam protection.

Step 2: Hosting Migration to Private Cloud

Moved the website to a dedicated cloud hosting solution with SSD storage and auto-scaling.

Enabled CDN with global caching for faster delivery to users in Asia and the Middle East.

Installed SSL certificate with auto-renewal and forced HTTPS site-wide.

Step 3: Website Optimization & Uptime Monitoring

Installed performance plugins (LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize) and cleaned up unused plugins/themes.

Implementation Timeline:

The full migration and upgrade were completed in under 7 days:

Day 1–2: Domain transfer, DNS planning, and server provisioning

Day 3–4: Full backup, staging setup, security hardening

Day 5: DNS switch and live migration (late night to avoid downtime)

Day 6–7: Email reconfiguration, user testing, SSL deployment, performance testing
